The First Time I Heard KICKSTARTER (David Bowie, Kate Bush, Joy Division, Smiths, Cocteau Twins)

THE FIRST TIME I HEARD is an e-book series where notable musicians and writers tell their stories of their "first time" hearing a specific iconic band or artist. The first five books in the series focus on David Bowie, Joy Division/New Order, Kate Bush, Cocteau Twins, and The Smiths. The project is edited by Scott Heim and is now seeking funding through Kickstarter (in order to cover expenses with book and jacket design, editing and typesetting, and compensating all the people who have so generously contributed to the project).
